Your data in MoveQuest
MoveQuest is a research study about movement and well-being for young people in Tunisia. This page says what it keeps about you, who can see it, where it is, and what you can ask for.
Who is responsible
The MoveQuest research team. The name of the organisation responsible for your data, and how to reach it, are written here before anybody takes part.
What MoveQuest keeps
- Your account: the name you chose, your language, and your email address if you sign in with one.
- What you do in the quest: which activities, when, for how long, and how they felt.
- Your answers to the study's questions.
- What the research team measures at a visit. It is never shown in the app, not even to you.
- Your agreement to take part, and your parent's or guardian's.
What MoveQuest never does
- No advertising, and your data is never sold.
- No tracking, no analytics, and only the cookies that keep you signed in.
- No photos: the app takes none and keeps none.
- Nothing about your body appears on your screen.
Who can see it
You. The research team, who sign in with a second code. The adult who runs your class's sessions sees what your class does. Your name and date of birth are kept apart, and every time somebody opens them is recorded.
Where it is kept
On servers in Ireland, in the European Union, with an encrypted copy kept for safety. A few services run elsewhere: the emails that confirm an address (Brevo, France), the check on the sign-in page (Cloudflare), and an activity's video, only when you press play (YouTube).
For how long
For as long as the study needs it. The research team decides how long with the ethics committee, and writes it here.
What you can ask for
- A copy of your data: in the app, on Me, under Your data.
- To stop taking part, at any time, without saying why: tell the adult who runs your sessions.
- To see, correct or ask about anything else: ask the adult who runs your sessions, who passes it on to the research team.
